You mentioned all bishops except Evlogii and Platon accepted the ROCA council, but in terms of parishes for instance, did ROCA have a precense outside Serbia at this point? Secondly, why wasn't Evlogi able to implement the agreement he reached with ROCA when he returned to paris?

If Kirill can do this to an Autonomous Church, then what claims can he make against the “Semi-Autonomous” ROCOR? What if the Moscow Patriarchate decides to dissolve the ROCOR, seize its territories and replace Metropolitan Nikolai with a bishop of the MP? In other words, if Patriarch Kirill pronounces that ROCOR is gone and is now just the Moscow Patriarchate, does he have the right to do so -as he is doing in Ukraine? It looks like he has the right since Kirill is already commemorated liturgically as the RULING HIERARCH in all ROCOR parishes and ROCOR. I have an honest question, that may sound to some as divisive, or argumentative. If it sounds that way, please forgive me, as it truly is not intended to be that way. I am just a confused believer, who is trying to understand more about the state of the present Church. My question is this. Those that are opposed to the re-union between ROCOR and the MP, do so because supposedly the MP never repented of its "Sergianism". I was hoping this video would have addressed that. So my question is, what is the explanation for not having repented of this, and what is the explanation for ROCOR agreeing to the re-union without the repentance. Please help me understand this.

Has ROCOR had any kind of "leavening" effect on the Moscow Patriarchate since 2007 or has the MP leavened the ROCOR with the leaven of Putinisees [cf. Matthew 16:6]? The Union of Orthodox Journalists has reported in a piece called "Does "Holy Rus' Exist in Reality?' that: According to a 2022 study by Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS) , only 1.4% of the Russian population attends religious services regularly (once a week), compared to 14% in 2013. The scandal with the new 100-ruble banknote, where the cross was removed from the Kazan Cathedral, exposed an unexpected but widespread issue - crosses are being systematically removed from Russian state symbols: the coat of arms of Russia, regional emblems, and various historical emblems. Orthodox churches are depicted without crosses in advertisements, murals, and posters. Bishop Savva, a vicar of the Patriarch, says that "someone is embarrassed by the crosses on churches and the coat of arms of Russia". Theologian Arkady Maler believes that the destruction of crosses in images in Russia is intentional. While "liberating" Ukrainian territories, the new "authorities" restore monuments to Lenin and Chekists, persecutors of the Church, and rename streets in their honour. In fact, Russian society is no longer Orthodox. Some clergymen of the ROC, such as Fr Sviatoslav Shevchenko, recognize this: "The problem is that we still behave as if we are the religious majority. According to statistics on practising Orthodox Christians, this is far from the truth. It's a dangerous illusion."

The result is that ROCOR stopped praying that the Russian people would be saved from the "yoke of godless authority." ROCOR has no problem with the yoke of antichristic authority -idolatrous putinism - that has the replaced the "yoke of godless" on the necks of the Russian people. ROCOR may have been anti-communist, but it is not anti-fascist.

Nice to see Father Patrick! I remember when he used to serve regularly at the ROCOR cathedral, that is, until 2019, when the Russian Orthodox Church severed communion with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese. That wasn't just a canon ball shot across the bow of the Greek Orthodox. That was direct fire. It is good to see this detente between Father Patrick and Father Deacon Andrei.

The ancient ordering and Communion of the Church must be restored in order to witness the truth of Christ to the world. Rome, Constantinople, Antioch, Alexandria and Jerusalem. The Church can again be as the Roman Canon in the liturgy states one holy catholic apostlic orthodox Church. It is a scandal. It seems that stopping commemorating could potentially give him a hint that he does something wrong. The main question is: the anathema of the holy synod of ROCOR against the so-called Moscow Patriarchate of 1971, has never been withdrawn. Those who entered into communion with the MP, a full member of the World Council of Churches, fell from the church of Christ into apostasy. It's that simple.

Patriarch Kirill stated that the sacraments of bishops and priests, who ‘do not keep this order without any scruples, remain valid.’” So it is possible to cease commemoration of Patriarch Kirill, who as of this moment has put aside Orthodox Christianity to take up Eastern Rite Putnanity, and still remain IN COMMUNION with the Russian Orthodox Church.

On July 19, 2023 The Union of Orthodox Journalists reported: “According to him [His Holiness Patriarch Kirill], the patriarchate receives letters with a ‘painful question’ whether it is possible to receive communion in churches where the head of the Russian Orthodox Church is not commemorated. ROCOR's enforced commemoration of the Patriarch of Moscow is less canonical, more contractual -- willful servility. This servility along with a seared conscience made up the added gratuity ( a 100% tip!) to the price that ROCOR paid for the restoration of communion with the MP.
